Procedure

Anesthesia: 

Local anaesthesia will be applied to your donor and recipient sides to make the procedure less painful for you

Donor site preparation: 

Our expert will properly sterilize the donor site to remove any surface-level bacteria. A solution containing saline, lidocaine, and epinephrine is injected into the area that numbs the region and makes the fat cells easy to remove. 

Fat collection:

A small 2-4 mm incision is made, and a blunt-tipped cannula is inserted through these incisions. The surgeon glides the cannula back and forth to loosen fat cells and carefully suctions them with a low-pressure vacuum system. 

Incision closure: 

After extracting the required amount of fat, incisions are closed with fine sutures, and a compression bandage is applied for quick healing.

Fat purification: 

The extracted fat is placed in a specialized spun machine that separates the viable cells from unnecessary water, blood, and cellular debris. Some machines also contain filters to obtain specific fat grafts.

• Months 1-3: The remaining swelling will resolve, and grafts will continue to settle. You can resume all your physical activities. Both donor and receptor sites will heal within 3 months, and you can enjoy your final results.
